Hello! My name is Khaled, and I am a dedicated educator and researcher currently pursuing my Erasmus Mundus Master’s degree in Nanoscience at KU Leuven. Academic excellence, scientific curiosity, and a genuine passion for mentorship have defined my journey. I graduated as the top student in my Biomedical Engineering class, an achievement that grounded my deep understanding of mathematics, physics, and natural sciences. My passion for teaching was truly sparked during my time as a University Teaching Assistant. How I Work as a Teacher & My Methods
My approach is student-centered, patient, and highly interactive. As a former university teaching assistant and current Master’s student at KU Leuven, I don't just ask students to memorize formulas or vocabulary; I help them understand the "why" behind them.
I break down complex mathematical, scientific, and language concepts into clear, simple, and manageable steps. I place a strong emphasis on critical thinking and problem-solving. My techniques include using visual aids, real-world examples (especially in physics and math), and active questioning to ensure the student is truly engaging with the material rather than passively listening. I adapt my speed and approach to each student's unique learning style and current levels of understanding.
A Typical Lesson
Each 60-to-90-minute session is structured to build confidence and ensure measurable progress:
The Warm-Up (10 mins): We review previous topics and address any lingering questions or homework challenges to ensure a solid foundation.
Concept Introduction (20-30 mins): We explore new material, breaking down the theory using interactive examples, visual tools, and collaborative problem-solving.
Guided Practice (20-30 mins): The student takes the lead on exercises and tasks while I provide real-time feedback, encourage, and help troubleshoot any obstacles.
Wrap-up & Progress Review (10 mins): We summarize the key takeaways of the day, address any remaining doubts, and set a clear focus for independent study or the next session.
