Hi! My name is Rhoda Mirna, and I have been teaching English as a foreign language for almost 7 years.
People often ask me why I chose to become an English teacher. The answer is simple—I truly believe that learning English can change someone’s future. It can open the door to better education, better career opportunities, and the chance to communicate with people from all over the world. English is more than just another school subject; it is a skill that gives people confidence and creates opportunities they may never have imagined.
This is why I love teaching. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student who was once afraid to speak English become confident enough to have a conversation, pass an IELTS or Cambridge exam, or achieve a goal they have been working towards. Being part of that journey is what motivates me every day.
Over the years, I have taught students of different ages and levels, and every student has taught me something too. I know that everyone learns differently, so I always try to make my lessons comfortable, encouraging, and enjoyable. I want my students to feel that making mistakes is completely normal because that is how we learn.
For me, teaching is not only about grammar and vocabulary. It is about helping people gain confidence, discover new opportunities, and believe in themselves. I hope I can help you do the same.

With almost 7 years of experience teaching English as a foreign language, I have helped students of all ages and backgrounds achieve their language goals. Whether you are learning English for school, work, travel, or personal growth, my lessons are designed to be practical, interactive, and enjoyable.
I specialize in IELTS preparation and Cambridge English examinations, guiding students through all four language skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—while also teaching effective exam strategies to maximize their scores. I also help students who simply want to become confident English speakers in everyday situations.
One of the things my students appreciate most is that they start speaking English from the very first lesson. I believe that communication is the key to language learning, so I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and expressing themselves.
