  1. I speak this language fluently because of my background. I grew up
  surrounded by several languages; Albanian and Greek at home, Italian
  through media, and English in school. Also Turkish when interacting
  with people close to my family. It felt natural to move between them,
  and that early curiosity evolved into a real passion for languages.
  They became both a tool for expression and a way to connect with
  people from different worlds.

  2. I have a huge interest in natural sciences and learned them in
  English so I’d definitely say Jane Goodall. She embodies curiosity,
  empathy, and scientific integrity, qualities deeply rooted in
  English-speaking academic culture. She reminds me that language is a
  vehicle for understanding life itself, akin to science.

  3. I adore how English speakers play with language. One of my favorite
  twists (or idiom merges) is the phrase “We’ll burn that bridge when we
  get there.” It takes a calm, pragmatic saying and flips it into dark
  humor, a mix of courage and chaos that perfectly captures the creative
  irreverence of English wit.

  4. English opens access to knowledge, to people, and to opportunities.
  Whether in science, art, or travel, it acts as a bridge. For me, it’s
  also the primary language of connection in my life, having travelled a
  lot and communicated mainly through it!

• > 5) Wat zijn de grootste moeilijkheden van deze taal en wat kan je helpen om deze taal te leren?

  5. I think the hardest part is mastering nuance, such as tone, irony,
  and register. Grammar can be learned through structure, but real
  fluency comes from immersion in the outside world through listening,
  reading aloud, and daring to speak even when you’re unsure. That’s
  what I encourage in my lessons.

  6. A student once tried to compliment my accent and said, “You sound
  very… understandable!” I took it as the highest form of praise.
  Teaching languages reminds you how charmingly imperfect communication
  can be and how important it is to preserve that individual
  variability!

  I’ve travelled through much of Europe and spent time in a city that
  felt entirely new to me. I love noticing how rhythm and routine change
  from place to place. Some places move with a constant, electric
  energy, where tradition and modern life coexist seamlessly. Others are
  defined by coastline and light, by food that invites slowness and
  people who carry a quiet confidence. Every trip teaches me something
  new about how culture shapes communication and how language carries
  emotion far beyond words.

• > 8) Wat maakt jou een Superprof, naast het feit dat je je in verschillende talen kan uitdrukken?

  8. I like to believe that it's because my students feel seen. I adapt
  to how their minds work, in visual, auditory, or logical processing
  and build trust so they’re not afraid to make mistakes. Teaching for
  me is transformative and fun. That’s what makes it rewarding every
  single time!
