Over Agil

Let op: de lessen worden in het Engels gegeven. Dit is schaakles, geen Engelse les.

Please note: this is chess coaching, taught in English.

Agil Pirverdiyev, FIDE Master and FIDE-certified coach from Baku, Azerbaijan. Fifteen years of teaching, more than 100 students, all online.

Rating 2411 classical, 2508 rapid. Under 16 World Champion 2011, Under 14 European Champion, team silver at the Chess Olympiad. FIDE arbiter title, with open tournament wins in Italy, Switzerland, France and Spain.

If English is not your first language, that is rarely a problem in chess lessons - the board does most of the explaining, and I teach adults and teenagers from many countries this way every week.

Over deze les

This is chess coaching. Lessons are given in English, one to one and online.

BEFORE WE START
Send me two or three of your recent games, plus a line about what you find hardest. I study them before the first session.

FIRST LESSON FREE, 30 MINUTES
I show you what is costing you points in your own games and give you a plan. No obligation afterwards.

IN A LESSON
We work from your games. At the moment the game turned I stop and ask what you saw - you do the calculating, I correct the method. You leave with one concrete task for the week and receive the analysis in writing.

WHO THIS SUITS
Adults whose rating has been flat for years, juniors playing tournaments, and children who have gone past the basics. Every level, all online.

ABOUT THE LANGUAGE
Chess is visual, so English rarely gets in the way. I teach students from many countries every week and we work on a shared board, which explains most things by itself.

PRACTICAL
- First lesson free, 30 minutes.
- Packages: 5 lessons, or 10 lessons with one free - you pay for nine and we play ten.
