Over Manav
Hi! I’m currently a third-year BSc International Business Administration student at Tilburg University. Physics and chemistry have always been among my strongest subjects, and they’ve shaped the way I think analytically, logically, and structurally. Even in my degree (bachelors of science), I regularly rely on scientific reasoning, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills that I developed through these subjects.
Before university, I completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma at The British School in The Netherlands, where I studied Higher Level Physics and Chemistry. These courses required not just memorizing formulas, but truly understanding concepts, applying them to unfamiliar problems, and thinking critically under exam pressure.
Having gone through the IB program myself, I understand exactly what students are expected to know, and where they often struggle. Physics can feel overwhelming with its formulas and abstract concepts. Chemistry can seem confusing with reactions, mechanisms, and calculations that all look similar at first. I’ve been there myself. More importantly, I remember what it’s like to be a student. I know how frustrating it can feel when a concept just doesn’t “click.”
My goal is to make it click, by breaking complex ideas into clear steps, explaining the logic behind every formula or reaction, and building confidence alongside understanding.

Physics and Chemistry aren’t about memorizing formulas they’re about understanding how the world works.
In my lessons, I focus on:
• Breaking complex concepts into simple, logical steps
• Explaining the WHY behind every formula and reaction
• Connecting theory to real-life examples
• Building confidence alongside problem-solving skills
A typical lesson looks like this:
• Quick recap of previous concepts to strengthen foundations
• Clear explanation of the new topic using structured reasoning
• Step-by-step worked examples together
• Guided practice with feedback and exam-style questions
I adapt my teaching style depending on the student, whether they:
• Need help catching up on core concepts
• Are preparing for exams and want structured practice
• Want to deepen their understanding and aim for top grades
My goal is not just to help students solve problems but to help them truly understand the principles behind them.
