Hi! I’m Linh, a friendly Vietnamese English tutor with three years of experience helping students improve their language skills and prepare for the IELTS exam
I really enjoy teaching and meeting students from different backgrounds. I know that learning a language can sometimes feel difficult or stressful because I myself struggle too! so I always try to create a relaxed and supportive atmosphere where you feel comfortable practicing and making mistakes. This is one of the best ways to learn and gain confidence. You know you will always learn the fastest when a friend teach you, right? So yeah that is what I am also trying to do!
In our lessons, we’ll work together to improve the areas you need most, whether that’s speaking more fluently, strengthening your grammar, improving your writing, or preparing for specific parts of the IELTS exam. I always adapt my lessons to your goals and learning style so you can make steady progress.
My aim is to make lessons engaging, practical, and enjoyable while helping you build real confidence in using English. Whether you’re studying for IELTS or simply want to communicate more naturally in English, I’ll be happy to support you on your learning journey!

My teaching approach is student-centered and focused on building confidence, communication skills, and practical understanding of English. I adapt each lesson to the student’s goals, whether they want to improve everyday fluency, prepare for the IELTS exam, or strengthen specific skills such as speaking, writing, listening, or grammar, I do it all!
In a typical lesson, we begin with a short review of previous material and I have to check your homework (of course, I will give a lot of homework) and a warm-up conversation to practice speaking naturally. Then we work on the main focus of the lesson. For IELTS students, this may include practicing speaking questions, improving writing structure, learning useful vocabulary, or developing strategies for listening and reading tasks. I provide clear explanations, examples and guided practice so students can apply what they learn immediately.
I also give constructive feedback and practical tips to help students improve quickly (by this i mean i will check very very usual). My goal is to make lessons engaging, supportive, and effective, so students feel comfortable asking questions and practicing their English
With three years of tutoring experience, I focus on explaining concepts in a simple way and helping students develop confidence in using English. My lessons are suitable for teenagers and adults who want to improve their general English, prepare for IELTS, or become more confident in speaking and communication
