Over Estrella
Every student has a voice that needs to be heard. I had students who are shy to speak for reasons that they maybe afraid to make mistakes or to be ridiculed. I refined my teaching to create a supportive environment so that students can feel at ease. I want to know my students better; connectedness is the key to making them understand why and where they are going. Their journey towards improving their language and communication skills improve when they are valued. I get them engaged in activities that make learning fun. They choose the topics they can relate with, give an oral presentation and thereafter, I give a valuable evaluation. This is student-centered learning. The essence of collaboration and team work are what students missed out and longed to do during the Pandemic. Now is the time to get them on their feet again. I like to add that recognizing cultural diversity are of equal importance. Cultural diversity requires sensitivity in appreciating differences in their values and family background. Giving positive feedback help students improve their learning and attain their highest potential to become better learners and leaders. I believe that .teachers should be a friend and mentor. I am committed to practice teaching and tutoring with the highest professional standard.

For Adolescent and young learners, I use the following objectives to develop my lesson plan (75 Mins) :
1) Speaking objective to indicate the student's comprehension when spoken to
2) Listening objective Ito make students understand a range of everyday spoken directions
3) Reading objective aims to make students identify factual details and implied meaning from a text
4) Writing objective is to enable students write essential facts from an article or a video clip
I have taught students from Kindergarten to Level 10; Idesign content planning according to students' learning needs.
