Over Melis
Hey there! I’m Melis, originally from Istanbul and now based in Antwerp. I’m a certified yoga instructor (since 2019) and a dance graduate from the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp.
I remember how overwhelming it can feel as a beginner, especially in group classes. It’s hard to know where to start or how to adapt the practice to your body. That’s why I’m here to offer one-on-one sessions, tailored to you. Whether you want to work on strength, flexibility, mobility, or even nail a specific movement like getting your middle splits, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

My specific skills include:
- Working on your proper alignment and technique in poses in our yoga session
- Mobility and Active Flexibility for helping you improve mobility and strength with various streatching techniques.
(We wil dedicate a specific training session to your flexibility and use a combination of active, static or passive, dynamic, etc. It does take time, and it can feel tedious, but the rewards will be great!)
-Handstands and Balance Technique, strenghtening exercises and drills.
I adapt exercises based on the individual needs and goals of the students.
