Over Rafa
Hello! I'm Rafa, a Spanish pianist from Barcelona, where I received my conservatory degree at the Conservatorio del Liceo; and I'm currently studying a Master at HKU.
My main speciality is classical music, but I've had a very diverse musical training over the years, which has allowed me to have a very open minded and curious approach to music.
Thanks to this, I've been able to work at different fields in the music world, like teaching, performing concerts, playing at private events or co-creating a classical music festival.
As a pianist, the knowledge acquired from these different jobs has lead me to perform in very different situations, such as dueting with Chick Corea, playing numerous classical recitals in auditoriums, record pop albums in studios or perform in manga conventions.
Through teaching, I canalize all these experiences to give my students the best and most complete education I can.

- Your level and age doesn't matter! I have experience both with children and adults, beginners and experienced, professionals and amateurs...
- Lessons can be in ENGLISH, SPANISH AND CATALAN (and soon in Dutch too)
- TRIAL LESSONS are 25€/Person. These lessons don't have a maximum time.
- In my lessons, I always encourage students to play different styles of music and learn them in different ways, adapting to your preferences. We can learn how to read scores, play by ear and memory, improvise, compose... We will find what works best for you!
- Do you have a preferred music or objective that you wanna focus on? Let's go for it! Do you want to try and find out new things about the piano and music? Let's explore them together!
In the end, the most important thing is that you can both learn and have fun.
