Craig ken ik nog uit de tijd dat hij in Prescott musicals produceerde, zoals Phantom of the Opera, Hello Dolly, Singing in the Rain en The Sound of Music.

Wat me altijd is bijgebleven is hoe hij piano- en zanglessen gaf: met evenveel aandacht voor techniek als voor het plezier en zelfvertrouwen van zijn leerlingen. Hij is hoog opgeleid en zeer ervaren, maar wat hem echt onderscheidt is zijn geduld en persoonlijke aandacht voor elke student.

Ik heb gezien hoe leerlingen onder zijn begeleiding niet alleen muzikaal vooruitgingen, maar ook zelfverzekerder werden, sommigen hebben er zelfs voor gekozen om een carrière als musicus of musicalartiest na te streven. Craig is een absolute aanrader voor iedereen die serieus met piano of zang aan de slag wil.

Ik heb wel vaker lessen gevolgd via superprof maar craig was echt zeer ervaren en dat merk je.

Toen ik begon had ik eerlijk gezegd geen idee wat ik kon verwachten, maar Craig zorgde er meteen voor dat ik me op mijn gemak voelde. Hij legt alles rustig uit, heeft veel geduld en past de lessen echt aan op wat jij wilt leren en waar je niveau ligt.

Wat ik vooral fijn vind, is dat er totaal geen druk op zit. Je hoeft niet bang te zijn om fouten te maken of iets nog niet te snappen. Daardoor krijg je vanzelf meer vertrouwen en merk je dat je elke les weer een stap vooruitgaat. Ik begon helemaal bij 0 kennis.

Dus als je twijfelt om te beginnen: gewoon die eerste les proberen. Grote kans dat je er net zo enthousiast van wordt als ik :)
