Over YUI
Hi! I'm Yui, originally from Osaka, Japan, and currently living in Spain. I also lived in Taiwan for many years, so Chinese is my native language and I have a multicultural background.
I have over 8 years of teaching experience with both children and adults, mainly in languages and programming. Through teaching different subjects, I've learned how important it is to explain things simply and adapt each lesson to the way each student learns best.
Having lived in Japan, Taiwan and Spain, I enjoy languages, cultural exchange and meeting people from different backgrounds. I love sharing not only Japanese, but also the culture and everyday life behind the language.
My lessons are relaxed, practical and focused on communication. My goal is to help you actually use what you learn, rather than simply memorize it.

My approach is simple: learn it today, use it today!
My lessons focus on practical Japanese that you can actually use in real-life situations. Rather than simply memorizing long lists of vocabulary or grammar rules, I like to help students learn naturally through conversation and practice.
We’ll use Japanese from the very beginning, at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I’ll explain new vocabulary and grammar through useful examples and then encourage you to use them in conversation right away.
Every lesson is adapted to your level, interests and goals. Whether you’re a complete beginner, learning Japanese for a trip to Japan, or simply want to become more confident in conversation, we can build the lessons around what you really need.
And don’t worry about making mistakes — they’re an important part of learning a language! My goal is to create a relaxed and friendly environment where you feel comfortable speaking and enjoying Japanese.
