Over Pol
I´m passionate about teaching and science communication. I've been working as student assistant and as a tutor since I started my BSc, 6 years ago. I´m calm and patient, but also enthusiastic about what I do. I like to keep my explanations engaging and easy to follow. I focus on the main ideas and the core concepts of the topic of interest. I also like using daily life examples to illustrate the importance and the potential of such goals.

I´m a recently graduated MSc in food biotechnology from WUR. Before coming to NL, I studied a BSc in biochemistry in Spain. I also have experience in the food fermentation industry.
I´m a very curious person, I´m passionate about learning new things and obtaining new insights on the world that I live in. I also like obtaining new "tools", so that I can use them in my creative processes (for instance in my food fermentation projects). I'm always happy to share those insights with other people, so I´ve always been in touch with teaching and science communication. I like cooking, music, reading, travelling and exercising.
