My name is Becca, and I am applying for the position of English tutor because I would love the opportunity to make a positive impact. My own experience learning Dutch was long and challenging, and looking back, what I truly needed was someone I could speak with regularly in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
Through that experience, I realized how powerful simple daily conversation can be. Even one or two hours of english speaking a day can make a significant difference in developing confidence, natural expression, and fluency in a language.
My goal as a tutor is to create that supportive space for others — a place where students feel comfortable speaking, making mistakes, and gradually finding their voice in English. I would be honored to help make that journey easier and more rewarding for those who are learning. the goal is to bring students to their personal goals and then say goodbye knowing they will enter the world of english speaking withought hesitation or fear!

In my lessons, I create a supportive and professional environment where you can practice speaking English with confidence. My teaching approach focuses on natural conversation, constructive feedback, and developing clear self-expression. I also help students improve their accent, tone, and speaking rhythm so they can communicate more naturally and effectively.
A typical lesson is conversation-based and tailored to your goals. We begin with relaxed dialogue to build comfort and fluency, followed by gentle corrections and guidance on vocabulary, pronunciation, and sentence structure. I use a soft and encouraging feedback style that helps you improve while maintaining confidence.
Having gone through the process of learning Dutch myself, I understand how important one-on-one conversation is for building real language skills. This experience allows me to guide students with patience and practical insight into the challenges of language learning.
My lessons are suitable for learners who want to improve conversational English, whether for everyday communication, personal development, or gaining more confidence when speaking. They are ideal for beginners who want to start speaking, as well as intermediate learners who want to refine their expression, pronunciation, and natural flow in English.
