Over Yoosung

Hi! I’m Yoosung Hur, a native Korean from Seoul, now living in Rotterdam and studying at Erasmus University. I’ve lived abroad since I was 4—in Ukraine and Russia for over a decade—so I know what it feels like to be the one learning a new language, trying to find the right words, and sometimes just laughing through the confusion.

Teaching Korean is more than just a job for me—it’s a way to connect with people. I really enjoy getting to know my students, hearing their stories, and helping them find joy in speaking Korean. I’ve been teaching since 2018, and every student brings something new to the table.

Outside of teaching, I’m into music, culture, and meaningful conversations. If you’re looking for someone who’s patient, understanding, and genuinely wants to help you grow—both in language and confidence—I’d be happy to be part of your Korean journey.

Over deze les

As someone who’s been learning and living in different languages since I was 4—growing up in Ukraine and Russia as a Korean—I get how awkward, funny, and sometimes painfully confusing learning a language can be (yes, I’ve had my fair share of accidental word mix-ups ).

That’s why my classes focus on natural conversation. No stiff role-playing—just real talk about things you actually care about. Whether it’s K-pop, daily life, or deep cultural chats, we’ll build your Korean step by step in a way that feels comfortable, useful, and you.

If you're looking to speak more fluently, sound more natural, and enjoy the process, let’s chat—and make Korean a part of your everyday life.
