Over Hyebin
Hi! I'm Hyebin (혜빈), nice to meet you!
I'm a Korean artist and Creative Technologist from South Korea, currently based in Rotterdam. I studied Media Art because I've always loved connecting people through stories, culture, and creativity.
For me, teaching Korean isn't just about language—it's about sharing the Korea I grew up with. I enjoy introducing not only the language, but also the traditions, art, food, history, local neighborhoods, seasonal culture, and the everyday moments that make Korea feel like home.
I've been teaching for nearly 10 years, working with students from elementary school to university, including international students at university. I love adapting my lessons to each student's interests and making learning enjoyable, practical, and memorable.
I hope our lessons help you feel closer to Korea—not only through the language, but through the people, stories, and culture behind it. I can't wait to meet you!

🪷 Learning Korean should be more than memorizing words. It should be a journey into a new culture 🪷
I believe the best way to learn Korean is by understanding the people, traditions, and stories behind the language.
In my lessons, we'll explore not only Korean grammar and conversation, but also traditional culture, history, food, art, everyday life, and the little cultural details that make Korea so unique. I'll share the Korea that locals know—from hidden neighborhoods and seasonal traditions to unspoken social customs and everyday expressions that you won't easily find in textbooks.
As a Korean artist and Creative Technologist with a background in Media Art, I love turning language learning into a cultural experience. Together, we'll explore traditional Korean culture, local neighborhoods, seasonal foods, hidden gems, regional customs, Korean artists and their works, and the stories behind everyday life—helping you discover the side of Korea that most tourists and even many expats never get to see.
I have nearly 10 years of teaching experience, working with students from elementary school to university, including international students. I always adapt my lessons to your level, learning style, and goals, so you can enjoy learning at your own pace.
