Over Shaun
My name is Shaun, I am a third year Economics student at UvA. I am an international student who grew up in Singapore. My international background allows me to interact and connect with people no matter their upbringing, therefore it's natural for me to find an individual approach to ones learning. Studying in Singapore, which is known for academic rigour, has equipped me with many useful tools when it comes to learning mathematics. During my high school, I learnt many shortcuts and many different approaches in order to understand concept and solve questions. I am keen on sharing these with you.

In private sessions, it is possible to focus on the individual needs for students. Students strengths and weaknesses can be more readily identified. This allows me to have more tailored classes for the individual needs of students. This is how I approach classes and I introduce appropriate extension materials as needed. I have taught various high school mathematics curriculums including IB mathematics.
