Over Laura
Hoi :)
I'm a professional animation filmmaker and illustrator with experience in the animation and publishing industries. My job is to make films, pictures and books! And I love that so much.
If you ask about my background, I studied Fine Arts in Italy and Poland, and later on I got a MA in Editorial Illustration (Ars In Fabule Picture Book School) and a MA in Animation at AKV St. Joost hogeschool, in the Netherlands.
I'm also a guest lecturer at the MA Animation of St. Joost, and I have experience coaching students and training juniors and interns. I'm passionated when I teach - I wont' tell what you have to do, but I will rather work along with you to find your strong points, and how to use them to learn and elevate your creative skills.

The lessons are tailor-made for each student, depending by goals and experience, and also in which area the student wants to develop and grow.
Below a little insight of how I can help you:
*Do you wish to learn drawing/painting and you don't have much experience? Don't worry, I can help you growing some confidence by taking your first steps into the world of drawing :)
*Do you have already some experience and maybe do you need to prepare for a creative education course or an entry exam? Or do you need some help making a portfolio? If you are seeking for an advice from a professional, I can be at your service!
*You have already some experience, but you are struggling to find your own style/signature. I can coach you through this beautiful, creative process and find your inner voice.
*You wish to gather knowledge and experience with different techniques and mediums. In particular I can teach the use of the graphite, colored pencils and watercolors.
*You wish to learn digital drawing and painting. No worries, I can teach you digital softwares like Adobe Photoshop and how to feel confident with a digital tablet.
Note: Ik spreek ook Nederlands, maar lesgeven in het Engels is voor mij efficiënter :)
