Over Olivia
My name is Olivia, and I am a native British English speaker currently studying Spatial Design in Rotterdam. I offer relaxed and friendly English tutoring focused on helping people gain confidence speaking naturally in everyday situations.
I speak a little of Dutch, but mostly English. I have a Dutch partner and live with him, as well as practice Dutch everyday, I hope through these lessons we can learn from each other.
As someone with a creative background, I enjoy making lessons engaging and personal. I am patient, encouraging, and understanding, and I believe confidence is one of the most important parts of language learning.

My lessons are designed for students, young professionals, creatives, and anyone who feels nervous or unsure when speaking English. Many people already understand English well but struggle with confidence, pronunciation, or natural conversation. My goal is to create a calm and supportive environment where learning feels comfortable and enjoyable rather than stressful or overly formal. I can help with presentations and finalising work.
I adapt lessons to each person’s level, interests, and learning style. I can teach from teenagers, to adults. Sessions can include conversational English, pronunciation help, vocabulary building, casual grammar support, interview preparation, presentation practice, and English for creative subjects such as art and design. I especially enjoy helping people who dislike traditional classroom methods and prefer a more natural way of learning through discussion and real-life situations.
Lessons are available online or in person in Rotterdam, with flexible evening and weekend availability. I can also commute to your location so you can see me work in the atmosphere of your own home. Whether you want to improve your speaking skills for university, work, travel, or daily life, I would love to help you feel more confident using English naturally and comfortably.
