I moved to Netherlands 2.5 years ago. As an international, English has been the only way of communication for me. I understand the need to be fluent in the language when you are in a public space. May be most people would not speak your language and that is when you need to know the global language English because in the crowd of 50 people I am sure many would definitely understand you. I want everybody to feel safe and confident while communicating efficiently.
