Over Piero
Piero Conte is a guitar player, composer and producer born in Rome and based in Rotterdam. His musical career starts in several clubs in Rome at the age of 16. At 19 years old he discover “black music” and Jazz, he starts his studies at Saint Louis College of music in Rome to end then in the conservatory of Rotterdam, Codarts. He played as guitar player and arranger for RBSN. Now currently active as producer and guitar player for Antares flare, Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance trio, Plankton Orchestra and Sinnerman. He released his first record with Antares Flare through the Amsterdam based label wicked wax and RBSN record with Ropeadope. He shared the stage with artist such as Roberto Gatto, Natalio Mangalavite, Yamandu Costa, Tineke Postma and more. He played in several festival and clubs in Italy, Germany, Belgium, France and Netherlands like Teatro Eliseo, Spring attitude, Teatro India, De Doelen, Dizzy Jazz Club, International Music Meeting Festival, Lantarenvenster, North Sea Jazz Festival, Make it Jazz Festival

I'll bring a study program inspired from the preparatory courses for the admission to conservatories but you'll have your chance to make your custom one. I believe that you know which is your best way to learn better and I'll organize our lessons according to that. In my lessons, other than all the strictly guitar related topics, we can also discuss about production and how to be an artist in nowadays society, starting from how to make a recording.
