Over Lauren
I received my TEFL qualification at home in an Irish college and then worked in Italy for three years as an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher.
Our method was communicative, meaning we taught exclusively through English (even for beginners) and spent more time speaking than writing.
Over the three years, I covered all levels. I have taught classes from 11 to 76 years old, in groups of 2 to 36 people, and also private individual lessons.
At the moment I am a student at Erasmus University, studying Communication and Media.

Lessons can be fully tailored and personalised regarding location, time, duration, method and focus topics.
Some students prefer relaxed, conversational lessons, and others prefer intensive and objective-oriented ones. The choice is up to you! I am more than happy to have a discussion about your goals and expectations, we can work together to create a programme which suits your needs.
We can decide whether to cover more oral and aural skills, grammar, or maybe English for a purpose such as tourism, finance, travel, exams..
