Over Saumya

Everybody learns differently, and as teachers we must respect this! In my 26 years of learning, I have experienced education in India, Dubai, the United States, and the Netherlands. I have collaborated on papers with German, Australian and Austrian professors. This diversity of learning environments, which has still not stopped (still doing my PhD), equips me to tweak my teaching style exactly on the needs of the student. This makes me unique.

Over deze les

I am a sport scientist my qualification. I come from India, and have a bachelor in Psychology and Mass Media, and a Master in Movement Sciences & Sport Psychology. I have studied communication from a scientific/theoretical point of view as part of my education, while I have also studied communication styles as part of applied research. Being part of the Vrije Universiteit Faculty, I am involved in teaching-based activities. I offer teaching services as part of my PhD study to other university students, and I also write study manuals for exam training. Thus, I have access to teaching material.

I can offer customised teaching styles for students that prefer a given learning style. If students are unable to grasp concepts, structural breakdowns can be offered. If the student is nervous in performance, game-based teaching can be adopted. I can assure an immersive learning experience and no lack of effort from my side!
