Over Ella
Hello! My name is Ella, 27 years old and I grew up in England. I speak both English and Dutch fluently (thanks to my Dutch Mum!) I have always had a passion for education, and have taught English as a foreign language to students of all ages and abilities. I have experience working with lots of students with different needs, backgrounds and cultures. From working in primary schools, secondary schools, special educational needs schools and working 1:1 with students for private tuition, teaching is something I really enjoy doing. I have lived in Amsterdam for 3 years now, working at the Vrije Universiteit. In my spare time, I like to play sports, travel and read books!

Whether you need some extra support at school, develop your business English or practice conversational English for social occasions, I've got you covered. In each lesson we will maximise speaking as much as possible to get you practising and building confidence. I'm very patient and will adapt my lessons based on interests and learning styles, whether that be visual aids, games, literature or something else completely to keep you motivated and help you reach your goals. I like to ensure my lessons are as fun as possible!
