Over Virginie
An enthusiastic and dedicated language educator, I have recently relocated to the beautiful town of Enschede. Teaching is not just my job—it is my passion. For the past 8 years, I have had the privilege of helping students of all horizons master French and English, bridging cultures and opening doors for their personal and professional growth.
As a native French speaker who is currently on the journey of learning Dutch, I deeply understand the challenges, the doubts, and the triumphs of learning a new language. This firsthand experience makes me a highly empathetic, patient, and encouraging coach for my students.
My Background & Experience:
Over nearly a decade in education, I have developed a versatile teaching style. I have worked with a wide range of profiles:
Young learners and teenagers needing school support or preparing for international language exams.
Adults and professionals looking to boost their career prospects or confidently travel in French-speaking countries.
University students aiming to refine their advanced grammar and conversational fluency.

When I am not teaching, I love exploring my new home region of Twente, meeting new people, and sharing the rich culture, gastronomy, and lifestyle of France with the local community.

Are you looking to learn French from scratch, brush up on your conversational skills, or prepare for an exam? As a native French speaker with nearly 8 years of experience teaching both French and English, I am here to help you reach your goals in a confident and supportive environment.
Having recently moved to Enschede, I offer dynamic and personalised lessons for students of all ages and levels (adults, university students, and children).
How do the lessons work?
Since I am currently learning Dutch, our communication and explanations will be in English. However, my goal is to get you speaking and thinking in French as much as possible right from the very first lesson!
What I offer:
Conversational French: Boost your fluency, perfect your pronunciation, and learn real everyday French expressions.
School & University Support: Tailored grammar, vocabulary, and writing exercises (perfect for International School or University of Twente students).
French for Travel & Culture: Get ready for your next trip to France with practical situations.
My Teaching Philosophy:
Every student is unique. I adapt my learning materials (articles, videos, interactive exercises) to your personal interests, pacing, and objectives. Learning a language should be engaging and fun, never stressful!
I can host lessons, travel to your location in the Enschede/Twente area, or conduct them online via Zoom/Teams.
