Over Robert
I have been teaching Dutch to expats from many different countries for several years.
Besides teaching, I work as a communication specialist. Because of this, I know very well how Dutch people communicate in professional and everyday situations.
I believe learning a language should be structured, practical and enjoyable.
Many of my students appreciate that my lessons are clear, relaxed and focused on real conversations.

My lessons are ideal for:

What a lesson looks like?
A typical lesson (usually 60 minutes) includes:
• short conversations
• explanation of vocabulary or grammar
• speaking, reading and writing practice
• homework & practical exercises.
Students usually speak a lot during the lesson, because speaking is the fastest way to improve.
Besides books, I also use my own teaching materials and articles, which makes the lessons more interesting and connected to real life in the Netherlands.

Robert is a very patient teacher. I took several lessons with him and he always adapted the material to my level. His explanations are clear and the lessons are well structured. I especially liked that he encouraged me to speak and corrected my mistakes in a supportive way.
