Qualified language coach with 25 yeard of experience (working for two of the best language institutes in the Netherlands) offers lessons to students in regular classes of Dutch or a successful crashcourse to go from level A-0 to B-1.
I want to make professional Dutch lessons affordable.
Private lessons cost € 32,00 per hour ‘face to face’ or virtual on an excellent platform (better than Teams).
This is the maximum rate per hour. In a package of more than 10 lessons, the rate could go down to a minimum of € 27,00 per hour.
A second and third student gets 50% discount of this tariff and the fourth student is for free.
As soon as students improve their knowledge of Dutch, I always advise and coach them to do the Staatsexamen, the only formal Certificate in this country, recognised by universities and employers.
I often work with expats who speak English, which offers a good channel to explain the Dutch grammar, but only in the beginning. I will try to switch to Dutch after a few lessons, to put knowledge into practice.
Having been an Expat myself I can perfectly feel their problems with the language and be a better teacher.
Teaching is my ultimate passion and even after 25 years, it feels like the first time and students always feel inspired to overcome the obstacles of the beginning.
As a teacher I try to explain the how and why of grammatical topics, to keep it interesting. I will also teach about the Dutch social culture, this is interwoven in the course and it can be different than you expected.
You will be inspired to learn and speak a much better Dutch !

Marcelo is een geweldige docent, ik heb in korte tijd mega veel geleerd. Hij had eindeloos geduld met mij omdat ik moeite heb met talen leren en bleef genadeloos een gesprek met mij aanknopen, tot het goed ging ! Ik ga binnenkort starten met mijn tweede cursus en kan deze superprof aan iedereen aanbevelen !
Marcelo is een uitstekende docent Portugees. Hij legt erg duidelijk uit en heeft mij over een spreek drempel geholpen. Ook die passie voor eigen taal, prachtig !
