Over Freddie
Hi! My name is Freddie Sharper, and I am currently studying jazz piano at the Prince Claus Conservatoire in Groningen, Netherlands.
Music has been a central part of my life for more than 12 years through classical piano training, performances, and continuous musical development. Over time, I became deeply passionate about jazz, improvisation, and creative expression through music.
I enjoy teaching because I love helping people discover their own musical voice and feel more confident at the piano. I believe learning music should be inspiring, enjoyable, and adapted to each individual student.
My international background and ability to teach in English, Russian, and Ukrainian help me connect with students from different cultures and levels of experience.
Whether you are a complete beginner or already have experience, I would be happy to support your musical journey.

My lessons combine strong classical piano fundamentals with a modern and creative jazz approach.
I focus not only on technique, but also on musicality, rhythm, improvisation, ear training, and helping students feel confident and free at the piano.
Each lesson is personalized depending on the student’s goals, whether you want to start from zero, improve your piano skills, learn jazz harmony, play by ear, improvise, or simply enjoy music more deeply.
As a jazz piano student at the Prince Claus Conservatoire with 12 years of classical training and performance experience, I combine academic knowledge with a supportive and friendly teaching style.
Lessons are available in English, Russian, and Ukrainian.
