Over Justine
I'm extremely open and determined to create a comfortable learning environment for those hoping to improve either their English or French speaking skills.
I have been a Student Council President, a judge in French debate competitions and an assistant instructor in karate, all of which have been experiences that have made me into an attentive and empathetic source of help and support for those around me.
I strive to adapt my teaching style to best match my student's preferences, while keeping an active and open line of communication between my student and I.

I have experience tutoring English and French in the past, often for students between the ages of 5 and 15 years old. I am, however, of course open to helping anyone, of any age, and adapt my lessons accordingly.
My qualifications as a tutor are reflected in my time as an assistant karate instructor, where I helped a variety of learning abilities, as well as my time in my Student Council, where I helped students grow more confident in their French speaking skills.
My lesson plan reflects the personal strong points of students, and their areas that need improving. For example, lessons may consist of active conversation with practical, real-life prompts, while actively correcting or offering ways to rephrase awkward sentences.
Also, reading books together, translating words and moving slowly from sentence to sentence will help strengthen the fondation of learning the desired language.
Grammar and expanding vocabulary are also areas that are important to explore, through work sheets or active conversation.
