Hi! I’m Laura, an eighteen year old graduate from Germany. Before studying to become an English language teacher next year, I decided to take a year off and move to the Netherlands to explore the country. At the same time, I want to prepare for my future career and help other people. I love the English language, unfortunately I cannot spread my knowledge without a teaching degree. This is why I’m hoping to earn your trust in my abilities. As a young person with an even younger brother, I understand the struggles of being part of today’s school system. I’ve been there not even half a year ago, and this is why I aim to help those who struggled even more than me:).

I’d like to spend the first lesson getting to know the student and having them explain their difficulties. Setting up study goals together is beneficial for the students motivation and my understanding of what exercises to prepare in order to achieve these goals. I like to work with a mix of examples/exercises and theoretical explanations. The length of each session can be customized from 30 to 60 minutes.
