Over Szabolcs
I graduated as a jazz-guitarist in 2005 at the Liszt Ferenc Music Academy, Budapest. Currently I am doing my masters degree at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in jazz composition/arranging.
I have been teaching guitar for 20 years in Hungarian music schools in beginner and advanced levels, and also privately.
Meanwhile I was working as a professional guitarist, composer and arranger in reknowned Hungarian bands, as well as leading my own projects. My latest record has been selected as the album of the year in 2019, also I have been selected as the guitarist of the year in 2020 on the prestigious Hungarian music portal, (Opgeslagen informatie).
I have experience in teaching children from the age of 8, from young aldults to elderly people in various levels. Some of my former studens are now professional musicians, several of them were accepted to the Liszt Ferenc Music Academy and also to the Berklee College of Music.

I have been teaching guitar for twenty years in music schools and privately.
I am looking for students in all ages and level. My specialization is jazz guitar, I use my method from the beginning: Learning the guitar through improvization.
Which means, you will be well prepared to any style you want to learn because you will have the technical and theoretical foundations, studied through enjoyable music playing. You will be prepared as well to write your own music.
I also welcome students in composition and arranging in any level. I teach jazz and crossover writing for live instruments.
The lessons are 50 minutes long.
