Over Roan

I’m a 21-year-old Astrophysics student in my second year at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, with a passion for quantum mechanics and stellar chemistry. My ultimate career goal is to become a professor of astrophysics and astronomy, driven by my deep love for studying the universe and my desire to inspire others with the wonders of science.

I firmly believe that anyone can master mathematics and science with the right guidance and motivation. Success in these fields isn’t determined by innate intelligence but by the effort and dedication you invest in learning. My approach is to provide the support and teaching methods that empower students to achieve their full potential in these challenging subjects.

Over deze les

As someone who once struggled with mathematics but worked my way from a low grade to a perfect score, I’m deeply passionate about helping students excel in this subject. I understand the challenges that come with mastering math, but I also know how satisfying it is when everything finally clicks. My goal is to guide you beyond just memorizing formulas, helping you truly grasp the underlying concepts and how to apply them effectively.

My tutoring is tailored specifically for students in the IB Diploma Programme, where I focus on personalized learning strategies that suit your individual needs. In our first session, we’ll discuss the learning methods that work best for you and customize the lessons accordingly. Whether it’s breaking down complex concepts, reviewing past papers, or revising together, I’m here to support your academic journey.

Each lesson typically lasts one hour, but I’m flexible with durations to accommodate your schedule. I take detailed notes on my tablet, which are shared with you in real-time during the lesson. If you’d like, I can also send you the finished notes afterward, so you have a comprehensive resource to refer back to as you study.
