Hi! I’m Anna, a passionate English tutor with a creative twist. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Emory University and hold a Master’s degree from the Rhode Island School of Design. My background includes years of experience as an elementary school teaching assistant, after-school tutor, and university writing tutor and language coach.
Beyond teaching, I love cooking, drawing, music, and playing Ultimate Frisbee. I believe that it is important to tailor each tutoring session to you and your interests to create an engaging and supportive learning environment. Whether you’re perfecting your writing, practicing conversation, or preparing for exams, I am here to help you achieve your English language goals.

I have recently moved to the Netherlands from America, and would love to help with your English language skills. I am an experienced tutor with a strong academic background, and I have a passion for teaching.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Emory University with a Bachelors in Cultural Anthropology, and earned my Master’s degree from the Rhode Island School of Design in Industrial Design. I have over four years of teaching and tutoring experience, including roles as an elementary school teaching assistant, an after-school tutor, and a university writing tutor and language coach.
I offer personalized lessons for beginners, advanced learners, or those preparing for exams. Depending on your level and goals, we can curate anything from an hour of conversation practice to an in depth analysis of your written work.
When we work together, I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment, and each lesson will be more tailored to your learning style as we get to know each other. I believe these sessions will be fun and educational, with creative techniques to keep you motivated.
Lessons are available in-person or online (I am based in Dordrecht). Flexible scheduling to suit your needs. Perfect for students, professionals, or anyone looking to improve their English fluency.

Anna is such a patient teacher! When I'm out of my comfort zone and struggling, she stays with me and makes sure I catch on. She is so smart, engaging and a pleasure to be around. She has lived in so many places and I love her worldly outlook on life.
I am practicing my english speaking with Anna for few weeks now, she is a really nice teacher. She goes with my learning phase and structure the lessons accordingly. Totally recommend!!
