Over Tanya
I am an Economics student with over 5 years of experience teaching Mathematics and English, including international examinations such as IGCSE and IB.
I am passionate about teaching and I value the impact that young people can make when they are equipped with the right resources and have access to knowledge that help them achieve their dreams. I ensure to communicate effectively with my students and work patiently with them. I find it very rewarding when my students improve in their academics and show effort and drive in their learning.

For Mathematics, I explain the concepts, share some examples and then work on past papers / practice questions.
For English, it is more tailored for each student. It depends on the syllabus and specific area the student needs help with. For instance, with argumentative essay writing, I create templates to for structuring an argument / counterargument and guide my students to brainstorm some ideas.
I have more than 5 years of teaching experience primary, high school students and adults. I have taught IGCSE, SAT, ACT, IB and IELTS.
