Over Pete
I am Pete, I have lived all around the world and have amassed a ton of experience in the world of artistry. I have created a successful creative collective in Amsterdam called The Platform, all with the purpose of platforming young and/or upcoming creatives in order to feed the Amsterdam creative scene.
I am an active artist looking to enrich the world of creativity, and share my skillset with the new generation, and spark interest in this ever growing and ever expanding trade.
I believe in approaching people with an equal and level approach, no matter your race, age, gender, background, and I only hope to provide a positive push in your creative journey.

Hello!
My name is Pete Gomes, and I am a professional photographer and filmmaker with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Film from the New York Film Academy, graduated in 2018.
I am active in the Amsterdam area. I create photoshoots, music videos, films, and commercial shoots for clients and for my personal artistic fulfilment.
When you hire me as your tutor I can help you with the basics of digital photography and film, the creative process of it all, as well as the technical aspect of equipment, including camera, lights, and more. I can also teach you how to produce and organize shoots along with editing, post processing of video, and the posting and distribution of your newly made content.
Furthermore, I can help take a look at projects you have already completed, or are in the process of developing, and give constructive feedback and advice based on your goals!
I am available to work with very Beginners looking to jump into their new hobby/career, as well as Advanced level students looking to expand their skillset and knowledge as much as possible.
As an artist, I implement the full creative process in all the projects I create, and I am well versed in the navigation of the creative scene and the completion of self-driven projects of all types.
