Over Maria
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Violin from the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Murcia (Spain) and I am currently completing my Master’s degree with Sarah Kapustin at ArtEZ, which I will finish in a few months. I have also studied privately for three years with the violinist Vicente Huerta, and with other distinguished teachers such as Lina Tur and Wibert Aerts.
I have extensive orchestral and chamber music experience. I have been part of youth orchestras such as the Joven Orquesta de la Región de Murcia (OJRM) and the Joven Orquesta de la Sinfónica de Galicia (OJSG), and I was an academist for two years with the Orquesta Ciudad de Granada (OCG).
I love teaching and constantly read and reflect on how to transmit violin and musical knowledge to my students. I enjoy working on solo repertoire, violin and piano, and violin with orchestra, always encouraging musicality, expression, and technical development. I am especially passionate about chamber music and orchestral playing, which I incorporate into my teaching to help students grow as well-rounded musicians.
In my city, I also lead artistic memory and historical music projects, combining performance, education, and community engagement. I am deeply passionate about the violin, music, and sharing this joy with my students in a supportive and inspiring way.

My violin lessons are fully personalized and adapted to each student’s goals, whether you are learning as a hobby, preparing for conservatory entrance exams, or studying violin in a professional and long-term way with close guidance and regular feedback.
I work on solid technical foundations, posture, sound production, and intonation, while also developing musicality, expression, interpretation, and confidence. My experience in chamber music and orchestras helps students grow as complete musicians and improve their ensemble and listening skills.
I am deeply interested in music pedagogy and continuously research and reflect on teaching methods to offer high-quality, motivating, and effective lessons. I am passionate about teaching, the violin, and sharing my love for music with every student in a supportive and inspiring environment.
