Meet Your Violin Instructor – Yazan
Hello! My name is Yazan. I’ve been playing the violin since I was young and teaching for the past 10 years. Music has been a central part of my life, and sharing it with others is my greatest passion.
I’m Dutch with Syrian roots, which allows me to bring a unique blend of Western classical and Oriental music traditions into my teaching. Whether you're interested in Bach or traditional Middle Eastern melodies, I tailor my lessons to your musical interests and goals.
As a teacher, I believe in building well-rounded musicians. In addition to violin technique, I guide my students through:
Music theory
Solfege and sight-singing
Music history
Sight-reading
Stage performance skills
Even movement and dance, to better understand rhythm and expression
I also help students prepare for conservatory entrance theory exams, offering structured support and guidance to succeed at the next level.
Over the years, I’ve performed on many stages and in many styles — from classical to pop to Oriental music — and I always strive for quality and depth in everything I play and teach.
