Met enige aarzeling ben ik begonnen met vioolles. Het is een prachtig instrument waar ik graag naar luister en het daarom ook wilde leren te bespelen. Typerend voor starters is, dat het moeilijk is om gelijk mooi geluid uit de viool te krijgen. Vanaf de eerste les heeft Gad mij geleerd om lelijk knarsend geluid te voorkomen. D.m.v. verschillende technieken met de strijkstok en hoe je er druk mee uitoefent zorgde hij er voor dat het geluid direct plezierig klonk. Reden om door te zetten en echt goed te leren spelen. Het goed kunnen lezen van muzieknoten heeft hij mij ook razendsnel bijgebracht, het was veel makkelijker dan dat ik mij herinnerde van muziekles op de middelbare school. Mijn lessen bij Gad heb ik als zeer leerzaam en motiverend ervaren. Daarnaast is het een fijne leraar waar je een grapje mee kan maken.
