My name is Yaroslava, and I am from Ukraine. I started learning English when I was 10, which was a long and sometimes challenging journey since I did not live in an English-speaking country. Despite the difficulties, I am very happy that I can now speak English fluently, as it allows me to travel, work, and study.
The tutor who taught me English truly changed my life, and that is exactly what I want to do for my students. I believe that it is never too late to start learning or improving a language, no matter your age. In my lessons, I focus on creating a positive, encouraging, and motivating environment. There is no shame in not knowing grammar or vocabulary perfectly—that is exactly why teachers exist: to guide and support learners.
My goal is to provide a safe, friendly, and inspiring learning space where every student feels comfortable practicing, making mistakes, and growing. Together, we can make learning English a fun, effective, and rewarding journey.

My English lessons are designed for beginners, children, and teenagers who want to improve their language skills and feel more confident in school. Because I am not a Dutch-speaking person, all lessons are conducted entirely in English. This creates a natural learning environment where students hear and use the language from the very beginning, helping them build confidence and fluency much faster.
I focus on making the learning process clear, encouraging, and enjoyable. For younger children, I use play-based techniques such as games, songs, stories, and visual activities to help them understand vocabulary and simple structures without needing translation. Teenagers receive more structured support, including grammar practice, reading comprehension, writing tasks, and speaking activities that match their school curriculum and exam requirements. For all beginners, I use simple explanations, repetition, and step-by-step progress to make English accessible and motivating.
Each lesson begins with a short warm-up, followed by focused work on reading, writing, speaking, or listening, depending on the student’s needs. The main activity may involve a text, a role-play, an exam-style exercise, or guided writing. We end with a brief review and a small homework task.
My goal is to help every student build confidence, improve their school results, and enjoy learning English in a fully immersive environment.
