Over Victoria
I’m a third-year student at UvA who is bilingual in English and Russian (plus: I speak Spanish). I’ve been giving English classes for the past few years and I absolutely loved the experience! I’m quite extroverted, so the concept of “I teach you study” is not my cup of tea))) I prefer to build a trusting relationship with my students so they can share whatever they want to with me (obviously in English) without apologising for over sharing;)
My main hobby is learning and teaching languages, but apart from that I’m also pretty much into psychology, public relations, dogs (I’m a pup pawrent myself), travelling and fashion.

In our lessons we will primarily focus on speaking practice — what’s the point of cramming grammar if you can’t chat with people on a night out? In order to build your vocabulary, we will read up-to-date articles from real magazines (Vogue/The Economist/Guardian etc.) depending on your interests and discuss them afterwards.
Surely, if you don’t understand certain grammar topics, we can figure them out together. All the classes with me are fully tailored for your needs — you choose what to improve/to talk about and I help you master it!

Thus, my typical class includes:
- Speaking warm up (just a chat about how it’s going)

- Listening (I promise it’s not boring!)
- Homework
