Over Xavi

My name is Xavi. I'm from Catalonia & I have been teaching Spanish, Catalan & English all around Europe, North America, & the Middle East for the last 13 years.

I studied Theater at UCLA (even though I never graduated) and later on a double degree in English Literature & Linguistics... But once again, I was too big of a misfit to finish college!
So, I came back to my country, did a Master's degree in Catalan Philology & right now I'm preparing for a PhD in Philosophy.

Aside from coaching language learners around the world, I also work with universities & language schools in Spain, designing all types of dynamic materials/curricula for specific needs of students, language departments & colleges.

I also work as a freelance translator & editor with a number of publishers in Spain, Portugal & the US.

Over deze les

Learning a language is, unlike most other subjects, a full time job!
But it doesn't have to be boring at all!

You can watch movies, listen to music, cook, eat, drink, & learn all at the same time!
And that is the magic of language learning (or more precisely, language acquisition!)

As a language coach, my job is to help you start your language learning journey, provide you with the right tools, & watch you grow as you take your first steps!

If you've always wanted to learn Spanish... Now's the time! The apps are fine, but it's time to take your Spanish fling to the next level! Let's start learning (& speaking) Spanish, as it's spoken on
