Over Karim
I’m a visual designer and artist with a double BA in Arts and Design and an MSc in Digital Design, with over eight years of experience in the arts and creative industry. My practice has always been driven by curiosity, which led me to experiment with many different artistic media and styles over the years.
One of the things I enjoy most is helping others connect with art and discover their own creative voice. I truly believe that art can change someone’s life for the better, no matter their age or background.
Note: I don’t speak Dutch yet, but I’m fluent in English and Arabic, and I speak some basic French. All lessons are taught in English.

This is suitable for beginners or intermediates who want to start. or enhance their skills and learn about different drawing and painting techniques, in addition to some cultural and art knowledge.
Every lesson will begin with 20 minutes to briefly talk about an art movement or an artist to increase the knowledge and awareness of the student, while the rest of the session will be dedicated to actual practical exploration of an artistic discipline or medium.
You can also request particular things you want to try, or things you want to learn about.

Specificaties
My lesson rates are €50 for in-person sessions and €40 for online classes. For in-person lessons within Amsterdam, a travel fee of €5–€10 may apply depending on the distance. For locations outside of Amsterdam, travel costs will be calculated based on the journey.
Please note that for any location beyond a 10 km radius, a minimum booking of 2 hours is required for in-person sessions.
