Over Gabija
I have always believed that teaching is not about a teacher that gives knowledge and a student that receives. In my opinion, it is about sharing and appreciating what people can give to each other. To me, teaching is sharing knowledge with others in such a specific way that it makes sense to them. However, at the same time, trying to learn from them and understand their knowledge. I enjoy helping people to shape their knowledge in such a way that it becomes applicable in practice!

I am a big advocate of active learning! I present you the abstract material, we ask each other questions, and then focus on how to implement the theoretical knowledge into practice! The lesson lasts for around an hour.
1. 15-20 mins to introduce the material ;
2. 10-15 mins asking questions and making sure everything is clear ;
3. Remaining time is to focus on practice questions or exercises.
I have been teaching for 3+ years now, therefore, I learned how to understand people and provide them with examples/metaphors for the information to stick long-term!
