Over Katie

Does your child understand English but get shy when it's time to speak? I can help!

I'm Katie Marie, a former Speech and Drama teacher and current Law student at Leiden University, fluent in English and a native speaker. I have experience teaching children aged 5-11, and I know how to make them feel relaxed, curious, and proud of their English.

In my previous lessons, we prepared poetry, developed speeches, and performed scenes for Drama Grading exams. Now I bring that same approach to conversational English.

Over deze les

Why learn with me?

Speech and Drama background: I know how to build clear pronunciation, expressive delivery, and confidence when speaking in front of others.
️ A law student's precision: I'll help you choose the right words, structure your ideas, and make your point persuasively.
️ Fluent English: Lessons are practical, relaxed, and centred on real conversation, not textbook drills.

What we'll work on:
- Everyday conversation and fluency
- Pronunciation and clear speech
- Vocabulary you'll actually use
- Losing the fear of making mistakes

How lessons work?
Each lesson is tailored to your goals and level. We talk, I listen, and I give you friendly, practical feedback so you improve every session. No pressure, just progress.

Whether you're a beginner or already speak well and want to sound more polished, I'll meet you where you are.
