Hi! Nice to meet you, my name is Elisa. I'm a native Spanish speaker, born in Mexico City and raised in Spain from the age of 6. Due to this, I bring a unique blend of Mexican and Spanish culture to my Spanish teaching.
With a lifelong passion for Spanish and exposure to diverse cultures, I've naturally found joy in helping others embark on their Spanish language journey. My teaching approach is dynamic and flexible, blending structured lessons with hands-on guidance and effective strategies.
I take great pride in witnessing others embrace my language. It brings me immense joy to see friends succeed in learning Spanish and even share their newfound knowledge with me. I love helping others learn Spanish, whether it's teaching classes at my university or casually tutoring friends.

I utilize a variety of resources, including a specific textbook that I have found highly effective in teaching Spanish, as well as additional materials aimed at making Spanish learning easier for English speakers. Additionally, I offer exposure to Latin American and Hispanic culture by recommending series, movies, music to listen to, etc. This dual approach ensures that my lessons are tailored to the individual needs of each student, providing a well-rounded learning experience.
The duration of my lessons is highly flexible, ranging from as short as half an hour to as long as two hours, and the frequency can be adjusted based on the learner's schedule and pace of learning.
My lessons are suitable for individuals at any level of proficiency in Spanish and of any age. Whether you are a beginner starting from scratch or an advanced learner looking to refine your skills, I can tailor my lessons to meet your specific needs and goals!
