Hi! I’m Monica, a passionate Spanish teacher originally from Mexico and now based in Amsterdam. I’ve been teaching languages for several years, both in schools and online, and I absolutely love helping people connect through language. As a Spanish teacher, I like to keep things simple, practical, and enjoyable. My main goal is to make you feel comfortable and confident using the language, no matter your level or background. I believe that learning a language should feel natural, not stressful—so I adapt each lesson to your pace, interests, and goals.
A typical class with me starts with a little warm-up or review, and then we dive into new vocabulary or grammar through real-life situations. We’ll practice together using fun and interactive activities like role-plays, games, short texts, or visuals. You’ll have plenty of chances to speak, ask questions, and build confidence. At the end, we reflect on what we’ve learned and set a small goal for the next class.
I have experience working with kids, teens, and adults, and I’m comfortable teaching complete beginners as well as more advanced learners. Whether you're preparing for an exam, planning a trip, or just want to improve your Spanish for fun or work, I’ll make sure the lessons are tailored to you.
I also love using creative resources and digital tools to keep things fresh and engaging. So if you're looking for someone patient, supportive, and passionate about teaching, I’d be happy to help you on your Spanish journey.
