Over Joy
I am from the USA, but lived and worked in Panama City, PA., and became a bilingual (Spanish) Special Education Teacher in New York. I have many years working in and with the language and enjoy teaching it. I am also a professional musician and now reside in the Netherlands. I currently teach languages and music from my home studio, online and abroad. I have been teaching either privately or in a school setting for over 20 years now. Teaching and music are my life passions.

I will tailor the classes to your level, speed and personal goals, but mostly, I hope to create a fun learning environment for you. Especially for beginners, I like to use the TPR (Total Physical Response) method, which requires you to first respond to the language, get involved and move around! You won’t be just sitting in front of your screen the whole time! I also try to use music for teaching where it fits.
However, if TPR is not your thing and you just want to practice everyday conversation, grammar, reading and/or writing, we can also do that, too, as I am also a professional teacher with classroom experience. After the trial class and a quick evaluation of your level, we can find the right method that fits to you and helps you reach your goals.
