Over Giannis
I have graduated with a Masters degree from the AUTH University, in Greece, with special focus on pedagogy. This privilege has granted me the tools to be able to understand and reach my students better and deeper and help them reach their goals and acquire a deep connection with their instrument. My lessons are adapted to the personal needs and wishes of my students, but they are also designed to push my students further, to exceed their limits and discover treasures beyond what they imagined. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and starting this journey together!

As an experienced player and teacher, i know that learning the saxophone is a very personal experience, different for every student. That's why we will give shape to our lessons together, to make sure your needs and wishes are met and fulfilled! In my lessons i discuss various topics concerning technique, theory and harmony and, of course, i introduce my students to a wide and diverse repertoire. From getting acquainted to the instrument, to playing our first small songs, to learning well known pieces and diving into the world of improvisation, i will make sure the lessons are fun and easy to follow!

I met Giannis through a mutual friend and he’s taught me how to play the saxophone from scratch.
Giannis makes lessons incredibly fun and engaging, ranging from basic technique and instrument mastery, to more conceptual work like music theory. He does a great job of explaining abstract ideas related to jazz, and helping students apply them practically and truly understand them. I can wholeheartedly recommend Giannis to sax players of any level!Giannis is not only an excellent teacher, he is a great guy who wants the best for his students. He adapts to the way I learn, and is very understanding and patient. I sincerely recommend him!
Als saxofoonleraar kan Giannis uitleggen en inspireren. Tijdens de lessen spelen we geregeld samen, en is er tijd en aandacht voor muziektheorie. Hij is enthousiast en toont duidelijk zijn passie voor muziek en de saxofoon. Hij is positief en motiveert op die manier om veel te oefenen en te spelen.
