Over Nina

I'm Nina, a recent graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Politics from PPLE College at the University of Amsterdam. I chose to study Politics because I love writing essays, especially being able to research something and synthesise what I've learned into a cohesive argument.

I've had experience as a Teaching Assistant for Advanced Language and Composition for native speakers, where my role was to provide students with actionable feedback and detailed editing to improve their writing assignments. I'd love to help you feel confident submitting essays that are well-researched and well-written.

Over deze les

University assignments that require academic or business English can be overwhelming for students who are not native speakers. My goal as a tutor is to develop your voice as a writer so that you can express your ideas in a concise and cohesive way. If you have a research report and you have no clue how to structure it or cite your sources, I can help you plan and edit your assignment so that you can submit your best work with the least amount of stress.

I offer a free session where you bring me what you are working on and I can gauge what areas we will need to focus on to get you where you want to be.

I am available to meet in-person but also have experience tutoring online. It's also possible for me to provide help outside of tutoring sessions in the form of detailed editing and comments to refine your work before you submit.

Together we can tackle big writing tasks. It's my hope we can meet your goals and give you skills to feel confident with future assignments.

This SuperProf tutor helped me a great deal! They are an exceptional, patient and knowledgeable tutor with a very extensive background in essay writing. I struggled with a Business Report I had in my International Business course. I was required to do extensive research for this exam which the tutor helped me complete, showing me the correct methods to conduct research in a scholarly context. Also, she was able to teach me the correct way to write business reports, including terminology and structure. I ended up with a 7,6 on my report after completing tutoring with Nina.

My son is a student at HvA and was failing Business English. Nina helped him make a study plan to write his essay, edited various drafts and gave him helpful feedback and pointers. Her kind and thoughtful approach helped him feel less overwhelmed and her coaching led to him passing the subject and getting a good grade for the essay.
