In my lessons, I focus on step-by-step guidance to help adult beginners bring their ideas to life — whether it’s a portrait of a loved one, a cherished pet, or another personal concept. I guide students through every stage of the process:
1. choosing a reference
2. sketching the basic structure
3. creating an underpainting
4. applying colors
5. finishing with detailed touches.
By following these steps, students complete a portrait or painting exactly as they imagined.
My teaching approach combines live demonstrations, practical exercises, and personalized feedback, ensuring that each student progresses at their own pace while learning professional techniques. Lessons are structured, clear, and supportive, designed to build both skill and confidence.
These lessons are ideal for adult beginners who want to learn oil painting on canvas, develop their artistic skills, and achieve a finished, polished work of art. I speak English and Russian and enjoy sharing my passion for art with students, helping them discover that creating beautiful paintings is achievable with the right guidance and practice.
