Over Lievens
"Alright everyone, gather 'round! I want you to try something: hum a really low, steady note. Got it? Now, without stopping, see if you can shape your mouth to make a high, whistling sound on top of that hum.
Hear something weird? That’s the ghost of an overtone!
My name is Kari Wunjo, and I’m a voice coach who is obsessed with chasing those ghosts. I travel the world of vocal techniques, from the steppes of Mongolia with throat singing to the harmonic traditions of Tuva and beyond, and I bring back the coolest tricks to teach you.
This isn't just about making strange sounds; it's about deep listening, incredible breath control, and connecting with your voice on a whole new level. So if you're ready to feel like a vocal superhero and impress the heck out of your friends, you're in the right place. Let's make some magic!"
